CPC Unveils Seven-Axis Humanoid Robotic Arm at Tainan Automation Machinery Expo
May 18, 2026
Embodying the MIT spirit with a high rate of in-house manufacturing.
Organized by Commercial Times, the 2026 Tainan Automation Machinery & Smart Manufacturing Show grandly opens from May 14 to May 17 at ICC Tainan. Exhibitor Chieftek Precision Co., Ltd. (cpc) showcased its “Seven-Axis Humanoid Robotic Arm,” which became a major highlight of the event.
According to cpc, the independently developed humanoid robotic arm demonstrates Taiwan’s comprehensive capabilities in the robotics industry—ranging from core components to system integration. Featuring a high rate of in-house manufacturing as its core advantage, approximately 80% of the overall components and key technologies are self-developed and manufactured by cpc. This truly embodies the spirit of MIT (Made in Taiwan), reducing supply chain dependency while enhancing product stability and customization flexibility.
The humanoid robotic arm on display features a 7-degree-of-freedom design, simulating motion trajectories and operational flexibility closer to human arms, thereby accommodating more complex movements and application scenarios. One of its standout features is the highly modular joint design. By integrating drive, control, and transmission technologies, the system achieves higher scalability and maintenance efficiency, allowing rapid configuration adjustments based on different application needs.
As smart manufacturing and AI applications continue to advance, humanoid robotics has become a key technology vector under global spotlight. In recent years, cpc has actively invested in the development of robotic joint modules and humanoid robotic arms, collaborating with various research institutes and industry partners—including domestic robotics research centers and technical teams developing robotic dogs and humanoid robots—to jointly advance Taiwan’s robotics ecosystem.
Moving forward, cpc will continue to deepen its core technology integration capabilities for robotics—from joint modules and drive controls to overall system applications—assisting clients in accelerating their smart and automated layouts, ensuring Taiwan manufacturing continues to play a vital role in the global robotics market.
