The event continued with Yang Chao-wei, Team Leader at China Productivity Center, introducing the service scope of the service team, accompanied by Director Tien Hsiao-hua’s book reading guide on Winning Product Methodology: From Creative Idea to Mass Production. Through core concepts presented in the book such as market demand analysis, product value positioning, supply chain integration, and commercialization strategies, participants were guided to ponder how local products can evolve from single commodities into market-influencing “winning products,” thereby elevating the competitiveness of local industries.
Next, former Deputy Director-General of the Fisheries Agency Chen Chien-yu presented on the topic “Quantifying the Market, Positioning Value,” sharing development strategies for Taiwan’s fisheries industry to identify product value and market positioning through market data and connect supply chains when facing market changes and industrial transformation.
Assistant Professor Huang Chih-hsiung of National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology spoke on “Enhancing Product Success Rate through Product Positioning and Market Verification,” starting from local industry counseling and brand management practices to explore product positioning, heading toward local industries, sharing brand cases, and reinventing the path of local revitalization.
Finally, Chen Chi-sheng, Chairman of Taiwang Food Industrial Co., Ltd., shared practical experience in deeply cultivating food processing and agricultural product value enhancement, utilizing “risk quantification” to manage supply chains, as well as ROI to boost product channel introduction and scaling capabilities.

The speakers jointly explored future development directions for local revitalization, establishing a new mindset for local industry innovation and development, and drawing out the true key to local revitalization: beyond producing high-quality products, good products must be made visible to the market. Only by establishing a complete value chain mindset can the competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of local industries be truly elevated. Through today’s exchanges, it is hoped that more young people will see the possibilities of local industries, attracting more talent to return home to invest and, combining with local culture, jointly create new local value.
