Event Overview：
As Taiwan’s oldest city, Tainan has actively responded to the challenges of an aging society while continuously promoting healthy and sustainable urban development. These efforts have achieved outstanding results, earning Tainan the nation’s only Excellence Award. According to the “2025 Sustainable and Healthy Cities Survey,” Tainan ranked second among the six special municipalities (just behind Taipei), with its social welfare performance topping the nation. Furthermore, Tainan is the first city in Taiwan to be recognized as a member of the WHO Western Pacific Regional “Healthy Cities.”

Beyond creating a livable environment, Tainan continues to introduce AI smart healthcare, promoting initiatives such as the “Healthcare Co-Care Cloud” and the “Community-Based Medical Rooting Project” to implement the family doctor system, enhance disease prevention, and strengthen public health response capabilities. Concurrently, the city is developing innovative policies for senior care and smart health services, steadily advancing toward its goal of becoming a “Smart Health City.”

The “Health Carnival” aims to showcase Tainan’s phased achievements in smart medicine, long-term care, and health policies through interactive health promotion and care resource exhibitions. By integrating with neighboring commercial districts, the event seeks to reinforce citizens’ sense of identity and belonging regarding the city’s health governance vision, ultimately shaping a new city image that balances livable quality with health and sustainability.
