Introduction:
The highly anticipated “Pinocchio’s Dream Journey” is a series of events brought to you by Pinocchio’s Dream Island, a well-established and trusted BJD doll event brand founded in 2010. It’s the largest BJD doll and creative craft fair in Southern Taiwan!

What is a BJD?
BJD, or Ball-Jointed Doll, is a term for all poseable dolls with ball-and-socket joints. While the concept dates back to ancient Rome, the modern BJD as we know it originated in 19th-century Europe. Early BJDs were made from materials like ceramics and plaster. However, after the Japanese company Volks developed and mass-produced the resin-based “Super Dollfie,” their exquisite details and high degree of customizability—including interchangeable parts and outfits—quickly made them a hit throughout East Asia. This sparked a subculture of collecting, playing with, and even customizing these dolls.

Following the success of the two-dimensional style “Dollfie Dream” series from Volks, a new wave of designers and professional doll companies emerged from Korea, leading to a flourishing BJD culture. Today, collectible dolls based on the BJD concept come in various sizes and types, from adorable 1/12 scale dolls to intricate 70cm figures, and even animal dolls.

What is Pinocchio’s Dream Island?
Founded in 2010, Pinocchio’s Dream Island is a major BJD and action figure event focused on handmade goods and creative exchanges. Here, you can find accessories for your beloved dolls and connect with various artists and professional doll companies.

Our goal is to promote doll-related creations and community in Taiwan by providing a safe and reliable platform for trading and communication. In addition to local and international artists, we also invite overseas doll companies and commercial vendors to participate, ensuring a rich variety of booths and options for all attendees. We hope you’ll not only enjoy seeing the latest creations but also find something you love and have a wonderful time at the event.

Notice:
● Children under the age of six (including six) are not permitted to enter the event.
● Please do not bring live pets. (Service animals, such as guide dogs, are an exception.)
● The issuance of entry numbers for on-site ticket purchasers will be announced at the venue.
● Advance tickets are considered “entry zine exchange vouchers” and cannot be used for direct entry. On the day of the event, you must exchange your voucher for an entry zine at the ticket counter before joining the admission line.
● After exchanging your advance ticket for an entry zine, the stub of your KKTIX (FamiPort) ticket will serve as your entry number. Please keep it in a safe place. You will be asked to show both your entry zine and the ticket stub when lining up.
● For KKTIX (FamiPort) tickets, the lineup and entry order will be based on the “registration number” (serial number) printed on your physical ticket. For ibon advance tickets, entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no separate queueing system.
● The ticket stub for advance tickets will also serve as your entry number and the redemption voucher for any raffle prizes. Please be sure to keep it safe.
