According to the Central Weather Administration, Tainan City has been placed under a weather alert and a land-based strong wind advisory has been issued due to the approaching typhoon and its outer circulation. Considering the potential risks to public safety and possible hazards caused by strong winds, the Tainan City Government has announced that all work and classes will be suspended tomorrow, November 12, to ensure public safety and support emergency preparedness efforts.

Safety Advisory
Typhoon Fung-wong is expected to maintain a moderate strength as it approaches Taiwan from tonight through tomorrow morning. It is forecast to move across land from the Pingtung–Kaohsiung area between tomorrow afternoon and evening. As the storm passes, southern Taiwan will experience stronger winds and heavier rain. Everyone is advised to secure any loose or easily toppled items in advance, and if you must go outside, please stay alert and take extra safety precautions.
ICC Tainan urges everyone to stay informed with the latest weather updates and remain indoors if possible. If travel is necessary, please take extra precautions.
