Tainan, Taiwan — The 2025 Southern Talent Sustainability × Energy Efficiency & Smart Transformation Expo will return to ICC Tainan from July 18 to 20, spotlighting the region’s bold vision for sustainable growth through talent development and technological innovation.

 

Following last year’s landmark success and the buzz generated by the AI Century Dialogue between AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su and Acer Chairman Jason Chen, this year’s edition promises to scale new heights in scope and global reach.

 

Under the guidance of the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, the expo will center on four pillars: Talent Development, HR Innovation, Sustainable Energy, and Smart Transformation. The event is designed to connect Southern Taiwan’s industries with high-quality talent and smart solutions to meet the demands of an evolving global economy.

 

U.S. Pavilion to Foster Cross-Border Growth

A major highlight of the 2025 expo is the debut of a U.S. Pavilion, featuring official delegations from West Virginia, Wyoming, Washington, South Carolina, Virginia, and Guam. These state representatives will offer direct insights into U.S. investment policies, site selection strategies, and key industry trends, helping local businesses explore opportunities for expansion in the United States.

 

The initiative aligns with President Lai Ching-te’s economic vision, which includes the “Taiwan Invests in America Team” — a plan that has already seen Taiwanese enterprises establish a presence in all 50 U.S. states, creating over 400,000 jobs and reinforcing the deep economic ties between the two nations.

 

Talent Recruitment and Thought Leadership

More than 200 enterprises and HR service providers are set to participate, with over 15,000 attendees expected. A dedicated Corporate Recruitment Zone, organized in partnership with 104 Job Bank, will facilitate live hiring by top employers including Pet Park, Sunmart Group, MOS Burger, ITRI iPAS, and PX Pay.

 

The expo will also host a series of high-level forums and keynote sessions, featuring industry leaders discussing pressing issues in digital transformation, ESG practices, AI integration, and business continuity.

 

Building Global Bridges

Hosted by Pintian Creative Integration, a subsidiary of GIS Group, and co-promoted with The News Lens, the expo serves as a strategic platform linking Southern Taiwan with international markets. As part of the “Southern Silicon Valley Development Plan,” the event reflects Taiwan’s long-term commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration.
