Jan 12, 2026
TAINAN, TAIWAN — To fortify the strength of Southern Taiwan’s automotive parts industrial cluster and tap into the region’s vast market potential, the Tainan City Government has successfully hosted three consecutive editions of the Tainan Auto Show at ICC Tainan.
In a strategic shift for 2026, the government is encouraging private sector leadership. For the first time, the Commercial Times will co-organize the event alongside the Bureau of Economic Development of the Tainan City Government. The fourth edition, “2026 Tainan Auto Show,” is scheduled to take place at ICC Tainan from January 29 to February 1.
Tainan stands as one of Taiwan’s three major automotive industrial hubs, boasting a dense and comprehensive supply chain for auto and motorcycle parts. From precision machining and automotive electronics to battery modules and exterior components, the region is home to numerous “hidden champions” with world-class capabilities in flexible manufacturing and technical innovation. These enterprises provide critical support to the global automotive supply chain, cementing Tainan’s role as an indispensable core base for the industry.
The 2026 Tainan Auto Show cordially invites domestic and international vehicle manufacturers, parts suppliers, heavy motorcycle and two-wheeler brands, and aftermarket service providers to participate in Southern Taiwan’s most representative annual automotive trade event.
The 2025 show achieved record-breaking success, attracting over 60,000 visitors during a three-day holiday period. Exhibitors reported enthusiastic responses, with on-site orders and follow-up business opportunities estimated at nearly NT$100 million. Both attendance and sales reached historic highs, demonstrating the formidable purchasing power and industrial vitality of the region.
The 2026 exhibition will feature an expanded scale and diverse themes, including dedicated zones for New Vehicles & New Energy Vehicles, Heavy Motorcycles & Two-wheelers, Auto & Motorcycle Parts, and Peripheral Industries. By blending industrial matchmaking with consumer experiences, the event aims to elevate the professional depth and overall impact of the exhibition.
The public and industry professionals are encouraged to visit ICC Tainan from January 29 to February 1 to explore new opportunities in Southern Taiwan’s thriving automotive sector.
