Introduction：
Founded in 2010, the BJD doll farm’s reputation brand [Pinocchio’s Dream Island] organized a series of activities – Pinocchio’s Dream Journey in Greater Tainan! South Taiwan’s largest BJD dolls handmade creative exchange exhibition, in Pinocchio’s Dream Journey!

What is a ball-jointed humanoid (BJD)?
Sphere joint dolls refer to all movable dolls with spherical design joints, the concept of which can be traced back to the ancient Roman era, while the currently popular modern BJDs originated in Europe in the 19th century. Originally made of ceramics and plaster, the “Super Dollfie” mass-produced by Volks Corporation in Japan, which was improved by research and development and made of resin material, was introduced into the world. Due to its delicate appearance and highly free play with replaceable parts and clothing, it quickly swept through East Asia and brought about a wave of subcultures of BJD collection, play and even hand-modification.

Afterwards, in addition to Volks’ “Dollfie Dream” series, designers and professional doll factories have emerged in Korea, leading to a wave of vigorous development of BJD culture. Nowadays, the collectible dolls developed with the concept of spherical jointed figures come in various sizes and categories, from the small and cute 1/12 figures to the exquisite 70cm figures, and there is a place for all kinds of dolls, from human figures to animal dolls.

Pinocchio’s Dream Island, what’s the event?
Established in 2010, Pinocchio’s Yume Island Warehouse is a large-scale handmade peripheral ready-to-sell event centered on movable dolls such as ball-jointed dolls (BJDs). Here, you can find decorative accessories for your precious dolls and communicate with various creators and professional doll makers.

Our initial goal is to promote domestic doll-related creations and exchanges, and to provide the doll community with a safe and reliable platform for trading, shopping and exchanges. In addition to domestic and overseas handmade creation societies, we also invite overseas professional doll factories and commercial units to participate in the exhibition, showing a rich variety of booth features and providing a wide range of choices for our fans. We hope that you will not only appreciate the latest related creations, but also find your favorite works and enjoy a pleasant experience at the event.

• BJD, OB11, Claymation, Blythe, Pullip and other ball jointed dolls and accessories will be on sale at the fair, and more than 200 booths from home and abroad will bring different styles of wonderful creations for you to explore!
